Are you a parent, grandparent, older sibling or primary carer looking to learn relaxation skills?
Please note that by attending the FRT workshop you will learn how to apply the relaxation routine demonstrated and guided by a qualified FRT Reflexologist for the benefit of you and your family, elderly folk, anxious teenagers, and babies, you will not be trained to be a Therapeutic Reflexologist.
The Functional Reflex Therapy Rainbow Relaxation Routine may be used by healthcare assistants, parents, carers, and grandparents, and is shared through a professionally packaged, informative, practical workshop led by a qualified FRT Reflexologist.
The workshop will prepare you with skills to deliver the structured FRT relaxation routine for the hands and feet in your place of work. The intention is for you to provide a pleasurable, positive touch activity to support the wellbeing of the individual that needs it.
What will you learn?
The theory and background regarding the Principles of Reflexology and how the Functional Reflex Therapy massage routine has been developed
The many benefits of using the respectful positive touch massage relaxation routine
Practical skills to deliver the hand and feet routine
Guidelines for good practice and protocols for delivery of the routine in your place of work
Awareness of your personal responsibility
An understanding of the responsibility agreed too by your employer for support post training
How do I learn?
Workshops for hands and feet arranged at your place of work with your local FRT Reflexologist or the Sensory Reflex Therapy training rooms in Sonstraal Heights, Durbanville.
R750 per delegate. The workshop is 2 hours needed.
